Nursing Associations
- American Nurses Association: The American Nurses Association is the United States’ largest organization in the nursing industry. This association has 3.1 million members across the nation. On this site, find information on careers and credentialing, nursing ethics, occupational and environment nursing information and health care policy information.
- National Students Nurses Association: The National Student Nurses Association has approximately 56,000 members across the nation. The goal of this association is to provide future registered nurses with a place to refer to for information, guidance and support.
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners: The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners has been the voice of the nurse practitioner for more than 26 years. This association was formed in 1985 and is organized into a total of 11 regions. On this site, you will find a member center, research and education information.
- AAACN: The American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing is an association that was founded in 1978. This association is the only one of its kind to provide a source of education to nurses who specialize in telehealth and ambulatory care. This association has over 2,200 members.
- American Association of Critical-Care Nurses: The Association of Critical-Care Nursing is the largest association of nursing specialty in the entire world. This association represents more than 500,000 registered nurses who care for the critically or acutely ill patient. On this site, you find information about becoming a member, certification, education, clinical practice, a marketplace and various publications to look into.
- American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants: The American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants was founded in 1989 with the intent to provide a common ground for nurses in the legal specialty of the industry.
- Nursing Informatics Organization: The Nursing Informatics Organization spreads over 34 countries with a total of over 2,900 members.
- Federal Nurses Association: The Federal Nurses Association promotes the interaction between nurses as well as promotes the advancement of education and experience within the nursing industry. This association is geared towards members who are registered nurses of the Army, Navy, Air Force of Public Health Service.
- National Institute of Nursing Research: The National Institute of Nursing Research provides you with extensive information on the nursing industry and provides you with the opportunity to get involved in research and funding. This organization also offers training opportunities.
- American Association of Colleges of Nurses: The American Association of College of Nurses is the advocate for higher-education nursing programs that are ranked at the bachelor’s degree level or higher. This national association provides you with industry-level information on the career in the Career Center as well as access to the Professional Nursing Network.
